Author’s Guide to Bookstores In-Person
Want to see your work on a bookstore shelf? Join us for this presentation exploring the secrets of booksellers and bookstores. We’ll discuss the different types of shops, how to tell if a store is open to selling your books, and how to approach stores with event proposals. Cari Dubiel is a librarian and the author of THE AUTHOR’S GUIDE TO LIBRARIES. She has recently branched out into researching bookstores and investigating the way they operate. Cari hopes to release a second guidebook for authors in 2026.
