Censorship Is So 1984- Read For Your Rights: Interactive Banned Books Display

Banned Books Week is October 5-11, 2025, and this year's theme featuring George Orwell's 1984 reminds us that the right to read belongs to all of us, that censorship has no place in contemporary society, and that we must defend our rights. Visit our display to see books that have been challenged or banned throughout the years. You'll have the opportunity to guess why and then find out the reason. These books are also available for check out! Other interactive and informative activities will be featured as well.
