A City of Hope: African Americans in Sandusky Before the Civil War In-Person
Many African Americans traveled through Sandusky in search of freedom before the Civil War and some stayed here. We know the names of them, but can we learn more about their lives? Using the resources that remain today, we will try to reveal their stories.
