The Lake Shore Electric Railway Company In-Person
Manny Marotta is a local historian who has collaborated with railway historians Tom Patton and Dennis Lamont to produce An Annotated & Illustrated Atlas of the Lake Shore Electric Railway Company, a book that recounts the story of the Lake Shore Electric Railway, an essential rail service that provided passenger and commercial transport between Cleveland and Toledo from 1880 to 1937. This book presents thousands of maps and photographs to weave together a rich atlas of Cleveland's railway history.
