Brown Bag History Program: Wicked Women of Ohio In-Person
Does Ohio have any wicked women? You bet it does! Author Jane Ann Turzillo will recount the misdeeds of four women who didn’t play by the rules and one who enforced the law—all from her latest book, Wicked Women of Ohio. She will talk about Ohio’s first female sheriff who solved a double murder; a heartless love plot; and a couple of madams who paid off local police but were eventually caught by the feds. She will show historic photos, talk about her research, and answer questions.
Guest speaker: Jane Ann Turzillo, author and historian
This will be a hybrid program. The presenter may be virtual or in-person and participants may attend in person or virtually with a provided link.
