Book Discussion: The 1619 Project by Nikole Hannah-Jones In-Person
This month we will discuss the compilation of essays, poems, and stories that expands on The York Times Magazine's Pulitzer Prize Winning "1619 Project" which explores the lasting effects of slavery throughout the American experience. Presenters Byron Craig, PhD and Sandra Zagarell will guide participants in a discussion that examines the "Preface/Origin", "Sugar," "Medicine," and "Church."
Books are available at the Sandusky Library, on Hoopla, and via Libby/Overdrive.
